about
A tribute to one of the greatest composers of all time on his upcoming 85th Birthday - Philip Glass
This in no way is meant to be a Philip Glass track, I personally have no classical training and wouldn't dream of attempting to produce something that someone of his talent can produce.
It is though, a tribute to him. I have always been mesmerised by his music, the timings, the arpeggios, the blend of piano/woodwind/synths - all have always been a massive inspiration to me.
The title is inspired by reading his book 'Words Without Music' where, when asked to describe his sound he said it "sounds like New York" a description I've always loved
